The Project traveled to Salem in June 2013.
We had two guided tours of Salem--one from a historian who highlighted current research regarding the Salem Witch Trials and one tour of Salem at night. We also visited a historic house and museums.
One afternoon, we engaged in team-building activities aboard the Schooner Fame, a replica of a privateer ship from the War of 1812.
We also spent two days in Boston, where we received guided tours of the Freedom Trail and the Black Heritage Trail. We also visited the Old North Church, Bunker Hill, and the U.S.S. Constitution.
In addition, two "Great Debates" were held during the evenings at Salem State University.
